Petra Dora Unleashed her Beauty in Budapest Makeup School

Hungarian beauty queen and celebrity Petra Dora Szick unleashed her beauty and craft inside the glamorous institution of Budapest Makeup School.

Let's engage in her interview:

1. You took a part on several Beauty contests and now you’re back at school. Where did the idea come from to be a student again?

I really wanted to study something and realized to do a make-up school would be more than perfect for me. I'm not going to lie. I can't do my own make-up. I'm so bad at it.

2. Tell me something about the school you are studying at?

The Budapest Makeup School was founded in 2008 by Andrea Pintér, who is also the school's leading instructor. A reputable school, many careers of makeup and sfx artists started from this school. Among the graduates here, there are those who pursue careers as make-up artists abroad (Germany, Spain), and those who work for Hungarian TV channels and films. In 2017, one of the school's students won the Battle of the brushes competition at the IMATS World Exhibition in London. I like the familiar, pleasant atmosphere in this school. We laugh a lot during the lessons, but at the same time we are talking about very serious things and we work hard.

3. Why did you choose this school?

My choice of the Budapest Makeup School is justified by a number of outstanding features. The individual curriculum and personalized education allow me to progress at my own pace and according to my individual needs. Participating in small groups not only ensures closer teacher-community connections, but also allows you to enjoy personal attention and support. Quality education and detailed information are a guarantee that I have all important information during the educational process.

Thanks to the focus of school projects and practical training, I have the opportunity to apply the learned theoretical knowledge in practice, so I can approach the curriculum from a broader perspective. With the help of high-quality teaching materials and meticulously developed materials, I can be sure that the acquired knowledge will be deep and thorough. All of these contribute to making the time spent at school not only learning, but also a developmental and creative journey for me.

4. What course are you taking?

I am doing professional training in Makeup and Eyelash Extension with them, at the end of which I will have the opportunity to take a professional qualification exam and become a professional makeup artist and eyelash extension specialist. I feel that I can use my creativity in this and at the same time it is a beautiful profession that I can practice anytime and anywhere, there are no geographical or language barriers.

5. Tell me something about your last photoshoot with them.

It was a larger project work in which I participated as a model. It was very useful, because now I consciously observed the make-up artist's work too. 😊 I was able to work with a very good team, under the guidance of the lead instructor Andrea Pintér: make-up artist Gabriella Keszler, apprentice makeup artist, photographer Valter Henrietta, make-up artist Ízisz Tóth, model Ferenc Kőrösi and model Lili Lábodi. Wonderful pictures were created, I am very satisfied with the final result.

6. Who do you recommend the school to?

I wholeheartedly recommend the courses of the Budapest Makeup School to everyone, including those who just want to do their own makeup professionally, but also those for whom this is their career dream. It is an ideal choice for those who want comprehensive and thorough knowledge of make-up. During quality education, individual requests are handled flexibly, ensuring that each student can develop individually. The friendly, family-friendly classes help students learn the tricks of the trade in an inspiring environment.

Another goal unlocked, Congratulations Petra and Budapest Makeup School!
