Official Statement from the Miss Intercontinental Organization:
Due to some unforseen reasons we changed the date and location from Sri Lanka to Egypt and announced today that the Sunrise Grand Select Crystal Bay Hotel and Resort in Hurghada, Egypt will be the Home of the 70 contestants for the 46th Miss Intercontinental. Sunrise is a leading Hotel and host the Miss Intercontinental from January 10 to 26, 2018.
Hurghada on the Red Sea will offer numerous opportunities of filming and photo options apart of an exciting program which we are sure each contestant will enjoy a lot. We are looking forward to stage for the first time the Miss Intercontinental competition in Egypt.
Note: The Miss Intercontinental 2017 final was originally set on December 21, 2017 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Heilymar Rosario of Puerto Rico is the incumbent winner.
