The tenth edition of Mister Ideal Nigeria will be held in Oniru Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria on May 4, 2019.
In the last 10 years, Mister Ideal Nigeria has played an immense role in placing the African male pageantry on the global map inspiring the emergence of several male pageants on the continent including Mister Ideal Uganda, Mister Ideal Botswana, Mister Ideal Zambia, Mister Ideal Gambia, Mister Senegal, Mister Guinea Conakry and many others.
The 2018 Male pageant of the year award winner is known for discovering talents such as; Supermodel Wale Bello, Steve Onyeneke (Face of 9 Mobile), Prince Ehirim, Ben Touitou (Desperate Housewives Africa), Abayomi Alvin (Jennifer's Diary), Kaycee Nma, Tony White ( MTV Base), JayJay Akapa, Emeka Darlington (Face of Airtel), Stephen Damian, Alex Gede (1st Runner-Up Mister Africa International) amongst others.
This platform has given these models many opportunities including Acting in major blockbuster movies, walking on the runway such as South African menswear week, Indonesia Fashion week, Lagos Fashion week, Accra Menswear Week, African Fashion Week Nigeria, GT Fashion weekend amongst others and worked for major fashion brands including Mai Atafo, Orange Culture, Clicloc London, Jamas Clothing etc. They have also represented Nigeria at various International pageants including Mister Africa International, Mister Universal Ambassador and Mister Grand Sea World.
Mister Ideal Nigeria is unique in the sense that it provides the opportunity for young men to make a difference in their world and make fabulous careers.
The theme for this year’s competition is The LEGENDS with the main purpose of promoting a new generation of great African youths.
