1. Miss Earth pageant started in 2001 in the Philippines.
2. Miss Earth 2002 Winfred Omwakwe, previously Miss Air 2002, replaced the original winner from Bosnia and Herzegovina after she was dethroned.
3. 2020 and 2021 editions are held in a virtual or online format.
4. The next edition for 2023 is slated in Vietnam.
