It’s with our heaviest hearts to announce after months of deliberation by the president (Mr. Haikal) and National Director (Mr. Geo), we come into agreement that this year (2023) will be THE LAST YEAR BOM will be organising Malaysia's national male pageant and perhaps the last one. It doesn't mean we're resigning, but rather that the organization are taking a break from the national pageant to focus on other bigger things.
This means there will be NO BOM from 2024 onwards.
This decision also gives the opportunity for other male pageant organizations to lead the male pageantry in Malaysia.
Throughout these 7 years, we would want to say THANK YOU to everyone in the media, sponsors, pageant lovers, make-up artists, designers, family, friends, and everyone who has believed in us since the day BOM was born.
We are strong because of you.
The BOM 2023 competition will continue as usual and the winner will have the opportunity to represent Malaysia. This decision will definitely not affect previous management.
