Beauty with a Purpose in action the Philippines.
Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska, and Chairman and CEO Miss World, Julia Morley united with Miss World Philippines 2022, Gwendolyne Fourniol and Miss World Philippines National Director, Arnold Vegafria at a special event to launch the first ever ERDA Foundation BASECO Learning Hub.
The Education Hub is the Beauty With a Purpose project of Gwendolyne Fourniol titles “Bridge the Gap, Build the Future!”
It has been located in one of the poorest parts of old town Manila and will provide the opportunity for thousands of young people in deprived areas, to receive a life transforming education, thus making a huge difference not only in their lives, but in the prospects for their families and the entire local community.
At the ceremony, Julia Morley (on behalf of Beauty With A Purpose) generously donated $20,000 USD to cover the costs for the education of the first 500 children.
“This is Beauty With A Purpose in action” said Julia, “Gwendolyne’s project with the backing of Arnold and the Miss World Philippines Organisation will now result in a brighter future for this whole community - we are so proud of what they have achieved!”
