Irene Laura Uwimana of Burundi, competes in the first edition of Miss Planet International.
Irene Laura popularly known as Irytina, is a well known Singer and Musician in Africa. Aside from her inclinations in music, she is also into pageantry, for she firmly believes, "You have the power to write your story, start where you are, use what you have and do what you can."
She will vie to win Burundi's first crown. Finals on March 1, 2019 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. More than 20 countries are participating in the contest.
