2018 Pageant of the World: Woman of the World Aboriginal Australia is Peta Lea Groves

Peta Lea Groves of the Aboriginal Australia competes in the 2nd edition of Pageant of the World to be held in Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, New South Wales, Australia. Finals on September 2, 2018.

Three words to describe her would be; bubbly, determined and thoughtful. She believes in living life and helping others when in need, she thinks that all it takes is one sentence to make someone’s day. Peta believes that knowing is only half the battle, it is what we do with our knowledge that really counts. She works casually in theatres across Sydney as a Lighting Technician and one day hopes to design her own show. Culture and family are important to hold onto and passed down through stories, art, and dance, especially when a lot of her culture has been lost through history.
