Russel Klay Panganiban from Gerona, Tarlac is vying for the title 2020 Hari ng Filipinas.
This 21 years young lad who stands 5'8" is a Licensed Professional Teacher - Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health).
"I joined Hari ng Filipinas 2020 to let people know more about my municipality - GERONA, TARLAC. Another reason is to be a good example to my fellow youth. Hari ng Filipinas can give me a chance to influence people. I will be able to show that pageants can serve as a window of opportunities to many relevant things in our society. Some of these are: promoting advocacy as an individual, improving one's self in any aspect of life and most of all, giving importance to camaraderie especially in making new friends and having a happy and meaningful life. My advocacy is to inspire Out of School Youth (OSY) in continuing and finishing their education," he asserted.

There are two winners of Hari ng Filipinas 2020, one will represent the Philippines in the fifth edition of Mister and Miss Culture World 2020 in June and the other one, will compete in the maiden edition of Man of the Earth in December. Both contests will take place in Vietnam. Hari ng Filipinas literally means King of the Philippines.
Note: The date of the final coronation of Hari ng Filipinas 2020 will be announced soon. Originally scheduled April 2020 but postponed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
