Kim Joshua Cañedo from Sta. Cruz, Tubod, Minglanilla, Cebu is vying for the title 2020 Hari ng Filipinas.
Kim, 24, stands 5'8" and a Civil Engineer by profession. He studied Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines. He manifested, "I joined this pageant to train myself in many aspects, to gain new friends, and to promote the tourism of my hometown in Cebu."
He is also a rising internet sensation based on his social media platforms.
There are two winners of Hari ng Filipinas 2020, one will represent the Philippines in the fifth edition of Mister and Miss Culture World 2020 in June and the other one, will compete in the maiden edition of Man of the Earth in December. Both contests will take place in Vietnam. Hari ng Filipinas literally means King of the Philippines.
