Eyra Baquero, the reigning Miss Progress International recently conducted her social project called "El valor que hay en ti para descubrir tu potencial" in Colombia.
"El valor que hay en ti para descubrir tu potencial" or "The value in you to discover your potential" is the title of her social project, the best one among the others.
2 months prior to the world finals, the pageant organization assigned a theme among Human Rights, Environment and Health to each represented country. All the contestants must elaborate a social project. The main judging criteria is the project itself. Beauty counts for 30% only on the overall score. In which, Eyra garnered another special title which is the Miss Progress Human Rights.
According to Eyra: "Our first step to the initiative as Miss Progress International with leaders and representatives of the foundation Mujer Despierta (Translate: The Woman Wakes Up). Where we were able to share knowledge, ideas and project a 2019 full of activities that support the entrepreneurship and empowerment of vulnerable women." She will have more events to come this year and this is just one of her activities.
She won the crown last September 28, 2018 in Leporano, Italy.
