Janice Jimenez, the current Miss Planet USA recently volunteered and engaged in the activities fostered by the Ocean Blue Project.
Miss Planet USA Organization partnered with the Ocean Blue Project together with Miss Planet USA 2019 Janice Jimenez. They conducted volunteer works in Long Beach, Washington. One of which is soliciting donations from the beach goers and tourists. Proceeds will be used by certain projects, for instance, tree planting and river restoration.
According to Miss Planet USA Organization, "The planet is beautiful! And it's up to us to keep it that way. Supporting, acting and encouraging in favor of the conservation of our beaches is much simpler than we think. A dirty and polluted beach harms the animals that live in the ocean or come by our beaches. Have you seen videos or photos of turtles with fishing hooks on their noses, seagulls with plastic in their stomachs, crabs and fish damaged with aluminum? All due to pollution of coastal areas. It is important for all of us to take measures regarding our beautiful planet and it's nature, the moment is now. Join volunteering, cleaning our beaches, we will make our planet a better and cleaner planet to live in and let's leave a beautiful legacy for future generations to come."
The purpose of the organization is to create role models and empower young women that dream to inspire others, the organization also provide tools which help these young women to be their best, in our communities, our nation and around the world by bringing a social change that would strengthen the love to all living inhabitants and respect to our environment and planet. Every one of these young woman should confidently stand up in any situation and believe by saying... I'm a women with a purpose and that's what makes me beautiful!
