Earlier this week the candidates of Miss Culture International 2019 were presented by the press and members of the academe.
Here are the answers of Miss Indonesia Flora Gracia Siagian.
Culture in her country which she is proud of:
Proud of Indonesia's 34 provinces, more than 100 tribes and different cultures and six different religions.
What is your nation doing, in regards to climate change:
In her community, they engaged in plastic segregation, wherein people are encouraged to kept their plastics and avoid throwing them elsewhere. They then exchange their plastics with money through a Trash Bank. In this aspect, people earn money. Also, they made eco bricks to add more solution. In the clothing industry, natural dye for clothes from plants like "rambutan" are now initiated.
What is your stand about mental health:
"As a medical student, for me mental health is more important than physical health." She also volunteered in a cancer society, experienced playing with kids and returning her with a valuable smile.
If she will win the crown of Miss Culture International, the culture that she will promote:
She will promote the national motto of Indonesia, unity in diversity. Therefore, focusing in the promotion of diversity.
