Chynna Sandra Palis will represent the Philippines in the third edition of Pageant of the World.
Chynna is a model and a runway coach. She earned her degree in Human Ecology at the University of the Philippines and completed an exchange program at Michigan State University in USA.
From a young age, she found meaning in engaging with the community through volunteerism. One of the projects she headed was even featured on Philippine national TV. She recently organised a fashion show to help raise funds for Grameen Australia - an organisation which provides micro loans to support businesses of women in need. The show featured dresses made from upcycled fabrics, worn by models of different cultural backgrounds.
A fact not known by many is that at the age of 13, Chynna underwent spine surgery to correct an advanced stage scoliosis. This limitation/flaw as some may perceive it, became her inspiration to shine above the norm and prove how true beauty lies within. This also led her to a passion in coaching girls to gain more self-confidence. "For it is when you believe in yourself, is when you conquer the world."
She is the third Miss Philippines to join the contest. Gabby Escubio joined in the first edition in 2016 while Kymberlee Street is the second edition's 1st Runner-Up held last year.
Finals to be held in Sofitel, Sydney, Australia on Sunday, October 13, 2019.
