Mozambique Will Host the 2019 Miss Africa Continent Finals for the First Time in May



Mozambique government has pledged to host the Miss Africa Continent 2019 pageant in May this year. This will be the fourth edition of the contest.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Mozambique will organize hand in hand with Miss African Beauty Group. Part of the announcement or letter of Minister Silva Armando Dunduro is taken down:

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism was charged by the Government with the task of coordinating, directing and planning the implementation of policies in the areas of preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage; the promotion of artistic development and cultural industries of intellectual property; the promotion of the sustainable development of tourism activities; But for these objectives to be achieved, it requires the proactive intervention of all segments of society through programs for the promotion of Culture, as prescribed in the Cultural Policy and Strategy of its implementation (Resolution 12/97 of 10 June); 

And in this context, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism welcomes the project to hold the Miss African Beauty contest in Mozambique to be held on May 25, 2019, under the auspices of Virgin Express Limited, which delegated the coordination of the hosting of the 4th competition of Miss Africa Mozambique by the Executive Director of Pro Act Holdings South Africa, Neo Mashishi, the founder of the project CEO of Miss African Beauty. In this way and taking into account the great social and cultural reach of the project, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, grants the present credential to the promoters of this event to find in the institutions of the Government, Municipal Councils, Private Sector, natural and collective persons, multiform support that contributes to the realization of this initiative, for the economic, social and cultural development of our country, emphasizing in the Transportation, Accommodation, Safety and event venue.
